Saturday Thoughts

Saturday Thoughts

This is my work-in-progress list… and how I keep track of my word count.

I got quite a bit written this week.

Next week I am not expecting to do as well. This is going to be a busy publishing week for me. I am putting together two anthologies (Across the Stolen Seas is being split), doing the editing for that… Then I have to double-check my September links. (including Andrew McDowell’s Years’ worth of Thoughts and my own Kissed by Verse) and work on my October books. (which will include Serena’s Stacked Nightmares.) So squeezing in time to write may be difficult.

Also, I decided to give my romance Pen Name a whirl, as I have a couple of romance stories that have been needing to be written. So much like Serena’s Stacked Nightmares, Heaven’s Forgotten Tales, and Apocalypse Atheneum…I started a book for her to write in. Meet Alchemy by Susan Ann Andrews. (That is my originally planned pen name when I was nine and wanting to be an author.)

Winner of the poll

Though I got other votes the majority seem to want Rising Madness. I am literally 3 poems away from completing Graphic Disturbances. As I am currently covered over at Fae Corps Publishing it will probably be July before I am capable of releasing it.

I Will be sure to let you know when I have more information about the release.

The next volume

Doing the poetry marathon has me at the point where I’m needing to pick the next volume. I usually ask here and on Facebook for opinions as to what I should do next.

which one do you like best ?

A gift for the fans

So I have received a few comments that my book catalog is daunting…my friend Jenny asked me to do omnibus editions for my poetry volumes and it seemed like a good idea. So in April – for National Poetry Month I will be releasing omnibus editions of my poetry volumes.

Do You Have yours?

Evolving poetry volumes

So I am done with the writing on Muse’s Masterpiece.

I will start Echoes tomorrow.

That being said… when I asked for a help to pick the next volume, I think that I miss-spoke. I always start with the idea that the volume is unthemed. (Unless I have a theme in mind) it evolves every time to bear a little bit of a theme.

I don’t do it on purpose.

I really don’t.

There is always some that don’t fit in the end exactly, but I don’t feel bad about it as it was not supposed to be a themed book to start with.

All of that being said… Muse’s Masterpiece seems to be mostly about answering the call of the creative muse.

Muse’s Masterpiece is scheduled for publishing in November (Link when I get it). And I will be writing on Echoes into the Void starting tomorrow. Maybe this one will not gather a theme on me.

Another Book release

I don’t often do Nonfiction. Still when I started Fae Corps I did some writing classes for the groups we did. I decided to compile it and release it as a book. There is world building, character development, writing poetry, and children’s books. This is a quick help guide to all writers. It is currently on pre-order with a release date of October 13th. Get your copy Here.

Whew.

Xactly Poetic is fully written.

It has a release date of September 15.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to get it done in time. But I finally got it done. (Yeah I know the post this morning said that I had 10 left. I do my posts Sunday night when I can.)

I will post the link when I get it… but I just wanted to celebrate finishing the writing.

My Immortality

I fought the Internal Battlefields and finished the writing as of today for it. I will be announcing the publication date as I have it…

I asked here and on several of my social media… and the choice came down to Hellfire and other illusions, my causality, and Immortality. So I asked Joe… His choice was Immortality. My daughter liked it best but felt like I would have an easier time writing Victory over the Asylum. I hope she is wrong there.

Book Birthday!!!

Today sees the release of Handprints On My Soul. Thoughtcicles is already set up for Preorder, and Kid’s week will see the release of Not Just Another Danny and Attack of Shoe Mountain.
This is a busy couple of months for me, and I am so grateful that I am able to be here doing this. So, Today…I am going to say Thank you for letting me be me.
