Saturday Thoughts

This is my work in progress list… and how I keep track of my word count. And I found myself needing to change it recently to add details.

As you can see I made quite a lot of progress this week. unfortunately Much of it was yesterday and today I am feeling like I have overdone.

I am still healing. Yesterday I felt better than I have in at least the last three years. So, I fixed breakfast. I body doubled so my son could get some dishes done. I sat with him to help him do a chore I promised to do myself 3 months ago and flaked on. I was up and out of the bed all day. Which felt so good. And now I am in so much pain that just sitting here waiting for the meds to kick in is excruciating.

I will be moving slower today. I am likely to be napping at least some time today. And I have to give myself that grace because surgery was just a little bit more than a week ago. I want my body to heal.

However, I am feeling better. So, that means that the surgery is worth it.

Now, I Do realize that my adjustments will probably open up questions. so I am not doing a book review tomorrow…instead I will post a Q&A ASk me anything day. see you tomorrow.

Announcing The results of the Poll

The second was searching for self and third was Glass Houses…I have got one poem into Decaying thoughts. S0 there will not be a listing for Forgotten Knowledge this week on Saturday thoughts.

Okay I usually do a poll when I hit 50+ poems in a volume. I always pick 5 options. Pick your favorite for my next volume. I will go with the one that gets the most votes…Due to my surgery I may or may not be longer getting to the new volume…not sure here. either way I will know which one to start next.

Rising Madness is done. I normally do this before I finish the current one but my writing block broke and I didn’t have the time to ask.

I ended up with votes each for burning the soul within, Ghosts of Gehenna, and Illumination. So I asked my boyfriend to be the tie breaker. He chose this one.

Serena’s thoughts are that it is appropriate. One should always illuminate after the darkness.

On that note, my volume Dream Drops is scheduled for release April 4th(link should be available soon …) her Darkness Within is already available in some places for pre-order.

Ars Poetica will be finished being written in April so we will have to see when we can get it on the schedule for publication. Lost Notes is dragging a bit but I am expecting to publish it in 2025 as well .

Of the two children’s books I have planned for kids week 2025 one is written and illustrated.(I just have to put it all together. ) The other one is in the idea stage.

Serena’s Heavens Forgotten Tales was scheduled for release in February but due to a small snafu, I believe it is going to be a delayed to March thing.

I am hoping Serena will be able to get farther into Sea Wytch this year. I would like to see it publishing by 2026 if possible.
