Starting the Year off with the first actual Wild Wednesday…This should be interesting… Currently I am not even sure what to talk about…I feel like I opened up topics and now I am terrified that I will drive y’all away with my actual interests…Stupid right?
So Let’s Talk Movies. I don’t watch as many as I used to, but I have some defined favorites. I was really into theater as a teen. So many of my favorite movies have technical things that make them amazing.
I want to recommend a movie that I feel has been forgotten. The Uninvited. No, not that new one, but the black and white ghost story from 1944. It not only had an amazing story, but what few effects were used were pulled off flawlessly. I felt like this could have been performed on a stage and still pulled off. It was only mildly scary, which for a ghost story is a good thing, and it had such a sweet story to pull the viewer in.
What movie would you recommend that is mostly unknown? and why?
Hmmm – I can’t think of such a movie at the moment. I haven’t been paying much attention to movies for quite a while. Maybe something will come to mind.

Don’t know if this quite counts, but if you’re looking for movies about writers, I recommend Miss Potter, starring Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor.
