I decided to do something fun today for Monday Poetry…I decided to show y’all my poetry related pinterest boards. Pinterest is a black hole for me, a time sink where I will lose track of time. So let me show you some of what I have been doing there.
first board is other poets and fun bits of lyrics. I enjoy reading poetry as much as writing poetry. so I save the ones I like.
The second board is Prompts. because sometimes the muse is a fickle thing.
Hi! I am a poet. Every poet has a preferred form. I think that I want to add a discussion of forms to Monday poetry for a few weeks. There are more forms then I personally use.
I love to do free verse. Not as many rules to limit the creativity. Free verse doesn’t have rhyme rules. There is no structure rules. It is the most open form to be able to express my thoughts.
So I usually post my poetry on Monday… I thought that today I might try to inspire some in you.
Prompt #1 should be fit for consideration for Fae Corps next poetry anthology Fae Dreams. The prompt is what do dream about? If it is nightmares, then write about them.
