Tuesday Tunes

Lyrics –

It’s in the way she often calls me out
It’s in the cut of your pretty gown
Your come-on legs and your pantyhose
You look so precious with your bloody nose
We’re gonna come together
We’re gonna celebrate
We’re gonna gather ’round
Like it’s your birthday
I don’t want to know just what I’m gonna do
I don’t care where you’re going
I’m coming along with you
Walking her home with the grassy field
Falling and laughing at the drinks we’ve spilled
Just one of those nights that I have to share
Chasing the death, without a care
We’re gonna come together
We’re gonna celebrate
We’re gonna gather around
Like it’s your birthday
I don’t wanna know just what I’m gonna do
I don’t care where you’re going
I’m coming along with you
You know I love the way you curve
Yeah
We’re gonna come together
We’re gonna celebrate
We’re gonna gather ’round
Like it’s your birthday
I don’t wanna know just what I’m gonna do
I don’t care where you’re going
I’m coming along with you

My Thoughts

My introduction to poetry was this book, followed by Edgar Allen Poe. Her poetry is still one of my favorites.

Saturday Thoughts

This is my work in progress list… and how I keep track of my word count.

I actually got more than I was expecting this week. then again due to the weather I had to reschedule my appointments.

my sleep patterns were so bad I ended up being able to get back to normal with my poetry writing goals. I did some in the stories but of course I would always want to do more.

This one was pencil and ink with oil pastels for the color.

I enjoy playing with mixed mediums as it gives my imagination more to work with. I had to use something to make the initial circle as my hand is not so steady to be able to make the circle freehand. I found that some of the mediums are more difficult to work with.
