Pad for Tuesday

Yeah, that prompt stumped me. I am big enough to admit it. So I finally decided to write something else. I forgot to post it before bed, but I remembered it now. Expect today’s posts later.

Day two Emily Dickinson

I am struggling with the prompts for today so I don’t know if I will be posting my poems today …

The prompts for the pad challenge are here.

April begins

Today’s prompt was Morning.

Thursday thoughts

This week has been a personal mess. So I have been trying to think of topics for upcoming blogs. April will be a huge poetry push. I will likely be posting not only my own poems but I think that I will be posting some of my favorite pieces from poets of the past with information about the poet. Note that I will be sure to credit the poets for their work. Even if most are no longer with us.

I always do writer’s digest poem prompts in both April and November. I am going to try to post the poems with links to the prompts through the month. It is also time for camp nano. I think Serena will be continuing to work on Life, Guilt, and Undeath.

We have decided to do as the first audiobook Bedtime tales: the princess lost. It will give me a smaller recording to start with. I have to record it, and then work on editing the audio until I think it worth publishing. I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist where my published books are concerned. I try to give my readers the best material that I possibly can. Most authors that I know are. I will be posting the link as soon as I have it for the audiobook version of each of the books.

So what would you like to see as far as topics here? Is there a poet who you want to see my favorite poem of?

Pad pain

poetic asides

Today that prompt was one that I have had for a while. Broken. And I was battling a migraine. So I have considered it before and only came up with cliché poetry. Today that prompt was right.

Migraine headache means that writing is cruel as I use electronic means only. Arthritis pain means handwriting is not a great idea. So I am struggled with even doing a poem.

Prompts

1. Disaster

2. Quiet

3. Loud

Ok I know that today was supposed to be teaser Tuesday. Only problem is that I have been sick for three days… That stupid weather change sniffles thing. I have been trying to keep up with everything but Serena’s nano novel has suffered. We are passed the 10k mark… But then it kinda got back burner treatment because of the sick. I refuse to post the same teasers. I respect you too much for that. I do have the rest of the week. And Teaser Tuesday may not be a every week thing. I will attempt to at least update you on how the writing is going, even if I can’t do a teaser. On that note, Spilled verse is coming along. I already have six or seven poems out of the seventy needed(all of the volumes I publish have at least seventy poems).

All of the links are listed on my post Links updated. I post them every so often as to bump them up on my blog.

Thanksgiving week I will not be posting. Family time, not internet time and all of that. Hopefully you all have a miraculous holiday.

Oh and be sure to check out my second world building post on Friday.

The death of a hero

There was no poem for Monday as I was too sad to write. Stan Lee’s passing was monumental. Yes I know that he was old. Somehow though he was one of those people who seem immortal. So I will try to do the poem prompt for today as well as tomorrow’s then. For tonight… The world is just too sad. So I am going to bed hoping that Mr. Lee is greeted on the other side like the hero he was.

Prompt forgiveness…

I struggled with this one. And then I was sitting here in bed… Kicking myself for all that I had failed to do. I have to be back up at seven. And my inner voice yelled at me to stop, forgive myself and go to sleep.
