Book Discussion

I occasionally get introspective.

I keep a list of my personal books I have written as a guide to remind me of my own accomplishments. There are days where I don’t believe that I am worthy. That list helps me find my own worth on days where it feels like it doesn’t exist.

Now I have been told that my personal book list is daunting. I have been doing this publishing thing since 2010…and I still have a nasty case of imposter syndrome.

Most people who read my blog know that I write as Patricia Harris and as Serena Mossgraves.

Serena Mossgraves currently only has 11 books published. Not terribly daunting, but I can see it would be slightly intimidating .

Patricia Harris however has a bibliography of epic proportions. I counted 68 books published under that name. yeah it’s daunting.  I have been doing better than I thought.

Sometimes I just need to remind myself that I have been doing things of worth.

Serena Mossgraves is a softie

so I announced that she will be releasing a kids book for kids week…because Dante Elliott requested it…guess what…he asked her to do another. so she did. It still has to be illustrated and put together but she wrote it for Dante.

Serena Mossgraves was not supposed to be writing kids books but she has a real soft spot where Dante is concerned. She doesn’t want anyone to know that she is a softie but I personally don’t know how she’s going to hide it with her second kids book being announced..,lol

okay first thing I am doing Fae Corps Publishing’s MerMay challenge. This means I will be continuing to post daily for the month of May. That means I will be still on hiatus for the daily normal posts.

Second, I am paying for the blog to allow the use of more images here. it will adjust the website for my blog page slightly. That should take effect on the third.

I hope you enjoy the art.

I may try to post some poetry just to keep my blog somewhat writing based. lol

So I have received a few comments that my book catalog is daunting…my friend Jenny asked me to do omnibus editions for my poetry volumes and it seemed like a good idea. So in April – for National Poetry Month I will be releasing omnibus editions of my poetry volumes.

I then realized that I didn’t have a line that I always put on my volumes.

so I decided to update it…and I added some whimsy at the same time.

the other thing is that several people pointed out that My Causality was better suited for Serena Mossgraves than for me.

so it will be her volume instead of mine.

In the vein of announcements….

This year for kids week Serena Mossgraves will be releasing one .

My favorite kiddo reader asked Serena to write him a scary story. Now he is only four/five years so how can she resist ?

She never planned to do any kids books and I have my doubts about her writing any more but it is such a fun story..

I actually waited longer than I usually do. Lost Notes is completely written and scheduled for release. I usually ask 5 or 6 poems from being done. Help me to choose the next volume?
