Upcoming books… scheduled personally

June will see Immortality Release.

July, I am hoping to release my coloring book – Color My Art – and Quiet Screams and a new one Titled Anthology Alumni. I, as you can see from the lack of links, have not gotten a confirmation that I will be able to do all three of them in July.

I already have my kids week title in preparation. It is currently in the editor’s hands, and I am about to do the illustration in June.

About Anthology Alumni… Quite a few of my poems have been published in various places. Anthologies, websites, and ezines. I don’t usually put them in my volumes once I submit them to other things. So, I thought I would gather all of them up. Note where the original publication – if any – is. And create a new volume. Below 👇 is the cover for this.

I will update with links as I have them.

Wild Wednesday

So…

What would you expect from a poetry book? Or an art book? Or really any book?

I am sitting here considering the composition of a coloring book and I am not sure of what makes a good one.

I know what I like.

This far I have been trying to get the books I published to be stuff that I like…

But what if I am not a good judge of content?

Beltane

The first day of May AKA Beltane is also the beginning of the planting season. (It’s a pagan holiday) I have a lot planned for May, but I don’t know what to do for a daily thing. I have several things that I am going to be doing… and I am hoping to get more information for you. From an upcoming anthology that will have some of my poetry, and another one with one of Serena’s stories in it, to the next volume of Poetry I am publishing (Immortality) which is releasing in June. Fae Corps Publishing has a full release schedule for May. And June is looking full as well. I am hoping to get some art squeezed in and posted through the month of May.

End of the month

I have been planning on doing some of my blog posts ahead from here on, as it worked out so well in April. Well… I am not sure where I should go. April is National Poetry Month so that is easier for me. But I am at a semi loss after that. I think that the imtern is ready to take over the Fae Corps Publishing blog… so I only have my own personal blog to attend to. Next weekend is the time I am going to be trying to get it scheduled for the month of May. That sounds like time to research what May is known for…any suggestions? I don’t know if I am going to be doing a daily thing…. that is quite an undertaking. Especially with the publication schedule I have lined up for Fae Corps Publishing.

Wild Wednesday

Wild Wednesday!

So many topics…. what should I talk about?

I will admit I am out of topics…Whew. This month is whupping my backside…and I don’t know what to say!

A Quiet Scream

A lot on my mind… and a few people that I am missing tonight… so I am sharing an extra poem from the new volume. Immortality has been given a release date of June 9th. With any luck I will have Quiet Screams written by then and scheduled for release. This year has been a little busy.

So many topics…. what should I talk about?

So I wanna talk about my favorite Poets…since it is National Poetry Month.

I have always been fond of Edgar Allan Poe. His work speaks to the Goth heart in me. His story 0f not making it during his lifetime also hits notes of poetic tragedy and genuine goth nature…(I know I am weird.)

Another I have always loved was Emily Dickenson. Her work is almost opposite in a lot of ways to Poe. Flowery and light. Almost as though she were making the words themselves her lover.

In my teen years I discovered Irene Hunt’s Up a Road Slowly. It introduced me to two new poets. Sara Teasdale and Edna St. Vincent Millay. I was enamored by the idea that poetry could be just randomly inserted into books. I did not realize that would not generally happen anyway.

In more recent years thanks to YouTube, I have discovered Blythe Baird and Rachel Wiley. I adore their poems.

I am hoping to be able to do another volume of Poetry at the end of June… but I don’t want to promise it until I get it done.

National Poetry Month and Other Shenanigans

Okay, April is a crazy month for me. Oh boy I am a busy bee….I have a full publishing slate.

(Mar 31 The key of the Storm , Apr 7 Internal Battlefields, Apr 14 Valley of Thoughts, Apr 21 State of Mind )

I always do the PAD Challenge myself. Plus I host a PAD challenge on the Fae Corps Blog

So I have scheduled a Poem A Day on here just in case I don’t get to do any other blogging. No commentary…just poetry by wonderful poets whom I enjoy. I hope to be able to post my own poetry throughout the month and maybe do some of my regular posts as well. I do not know.

I will be trying to be popping in and trying to discuss things as I can, but I at least wanted to keep my blog active while I am so busy.

Y’all get the information sooner, but this allows me to get my numbers higher with Amazon. (I announce it often before the preorder happens, but Amazon does use the numbers to influence how it shows my books)
