Scheduled snafus

So my schedule is thrown to the winds from the holidays. I apologize. I will be back on Monday (yes I realize it is New Years Day.) I want to get back on track. 2019 is going to be a busy year for me. I have a childrens book that will release in 2019, At least three poetry volumes will also release. Serena is going to be in an anthology and is hoping for her second book in the zombie series to release. I will be doing more with my art, and updates will be going up on Patreon (pattimouse) about that. Add to that this blog, the possible ezines, and other fun stuff. I will update you as I know dates and such. Thank you for continuing to read my simple blogs.

Also I will be continuing with world building for a couple of weeks. Fridays. Then I will start a series of character building posts. Not sure what I will work on after that.

Religion and holidays

Not sure if it has come up here yet, but I am pagan. As such we celebrate Yule. So I am not going to be doing much here this week as I plan on spending the holiday enjoying my family. Next week I should be back on track. I may be posting an announcement this week as the next Creatives Rising E-Zine is coming up soon. Once I have the full information I will post it. Otherwise, Happy Holidays to you and yours… Whichever holiday you celebrate.

Monday Poetry

This is a bit of whimsy. We played Cards Against Humanity and the black card asked for 3 cards to make a Haiku. This is the closest I could get.

Immortal reviews

I was lucky enough to win this in a giveaway the author did. Since receiving it, I have read it through multiple times. The only reason it was not reviewed sooner is because I already had reviews in various states of written. So I delayed this until I could focus on it somewhat.

It is a wonderful book fillled with poetry and small bits of prose. The art is well placed and adds to the flow. It does not feel like the poetry I write, it feels more like a conversation. A natural storyteller unfolding her thoughts before you.

The author, Deedra Mosley, also has several other books. I enjoyed the Louise Green books and am eagerly awaiting the next one. Go ahead, check out her website. I think that you will enjoy the experience. I know I have.
