Planning covers.

These are all future poetry volume titles. I do all of my own cover design and thought you might enjoy.

P. A. D. Day 8

Poetic Asides P.A.D. challenge

Prompt upcoming/foreshadowing or at least that is how I read it.

Wooohoooo!

So remember that I said I might be able to be in the winter issue of Creative Risings E-zine? Well I was approved for it. I was given the assignment for art/digital art and the topic is spirituality. That is incredibly open and I will have to think on what I will be submitting. I am currently out of canvases for physical art. So I will likely be doing it digital… I have to think on it though. Do you have any suggestions to assist?

Shhhh!

Not trying to jinx anything, but I put in an application to be in the winter edition of Creative Rising E-zine. Keep those fingers crossed and I will update you as more info comes in.

Scheduled hopes.

So… In the past I have been awful about updating this blog. I am hoping that if I do a bit of a schedule it may help. So I decided to post my plan… Please be patient with me as I may still lapse.

Monday : poems. That will be the day when I share any poetry that I feel like sharing.

Tuesday : teasers. I have a children’s chapter book that I am working on currently, and Serena has her second book in her zombie apocalypse series. This is when I will be sharing teasers and updates on the work we are doing.

Wednesday : webcomics! This is going to be where I discuss webcomics and perhaps other fandoms.

Thursday : Reviews. Both tech and books. I am a geek who reads a lot. I really need to start doing a review segment on here.

Friday : writing helpers. This is where I will be talking about the technical difficulties that come with writing.

I am not scheduling weekends. And I may end up posting random other than the schedule… Cause life. You get it, I am quite sure. Also I may be less accurate to the schedule in November. I am doing the pad challenge and Serena is doing Nanowrimo. So I don’t know how much extra time for blogging I will have. But I will be posting. Just figure it will be less than I am hoping for.

Cover and Title Reveal

About a week ago I asked for input on on the title of my next volume of poetry. The votes came in. So I am going to reveal the cover and the title together.

What do you think?

Timing and verse

So I have been very sick or this post would have been made last week. I have finished writing the poetry for Temporal Verse. I am working on layout and will be posting links soon.

I am going to be doing the inktober challenge… And I will post the pictures of it daily. However, I will likely not be posting long descriptions with. As that would make it harder for me. Inktober, for the uninformed, is a daily drawing challenge. I will not promise that mine will be the best art out there, as the challenge draws some amazeballs artists. I am going to try to post here and twitter and instagram.

Then I plan on doing the pad challenge in November, and Serena is doing Nanowrimo. So I will try to post some of the results, poetry and teasers for her. I am not going to promise that because I may not have any extra time.

I have started branching into other places to sell my books. Draft2digital offers me options for many venues. I will be next week doing a post up with the links that I have already, and I will attempt to update it monthly.

There have been discussions on doing an audiobook version of Rust, Gore, and the Junkyard Zombie as a anniversary release. If we do it, then it will be May.

I have a couple of poems from the new volume to share, I will do it in a separate post. This is mostly just upcoming news. ☺

Also, I have been posting on Facebook a poll. The title for my next volume of poetry… I am leaving in fan hands. Cast your vote.

Accepted

So I have been accepted by another literary magazine. So I think that I will need to do a list of places… Other than my own publications that I have been published and what was published. Some of these are still upcoming. Approval often happens well before the printing.

Creatives Rising, Issue 1, Poem

Issue 2, Art

Issue 3(upcoming), Art

Down in the dirt. Jan/feb 2019 issue poem

bewildering stories, issue tbd (should be 762 or later, roughly a month from now give or take.) Poem

This list is obviously subject to update. I am starting to get braver about sharing my stuff. It is not an easy thing for me. I am so tickled by the response I have been getting.

Also with the change in createspace to kdp… I have been thinking. I am debating whether or not to keep my poetry volumes and kids books in Kindle unlimited or to do it over the other platforms. Weigh in with your opinion?

News.

I have been submitting to various lit magazines. So far only two have responded yes!  I will have my art in the fall edition of Creatives Rising.  And in roughly a month  my poetry should be appearing at http://www.bewilderingstories.com

Go show that e-zine some love ! I will post if any of my other submissions take off.  I am also going to try to submit more, as I think that I need to get my name known more.

Oh and before I go,  I registered Serena for Nano.  So I may not be posting much in November … Or I may be posting a lot. Not sure yet .
