I feel like I have been doing a lot of the I am overwhelmed posts for the Wednesday post. And I don’t want to do it for the third week.
So I decided that I will do a news drop instead.
Serena is writing again. The Sea Wytch is actually moving forward and I have hope that it will be done this year.
Fae corps publishing is in current negotiations with a narrator to be able to offer audio books.
We are also in negotiations for the possibility of offering another imprint under our team.
I am posting my poetry images on patreon. Any paid amount will allow you to see them. They will not be available anywhere else. I am trying to not post the same poem anywhere else as well. So unless you are a patron the only way to see those poems are to buy the books.
Not sure if I announced it here but I have a new intern for Fae corps who is running the fae corps publishing blog. They are taking a huge amount of work off my plate each week. That should help me with my overwhelmed life.
I have signed up for the half marathon on the poetry marathon. 12 poems in 12 hours. It’s June 15th.
I am sure there’s more news but I don’t know what else to say…. So I will try to remember it by next week.

I am frazzled this day, I slept wrong and I don’t feel good. So I am trying to find my way today and it is becoming a struggle because I am not working on my normal schedule. I normally have my blog scheduled ahead…but I was doing it daily because I was doing a daily poem. Now I am in between the two. I don’t do well with change.
I am trying to at least keep the blog as active as I can…but this is difficult. Tomorrow is easy. I can share my normal Friday thing and it will work. Thursday is the problem. I want to do more of a discussion about art and the use of it in the day to day…and that will take planning. Which I can not do on the lack of sleep I have had.
Thank you for your Patience….

So I finished with the pad challenge yesterday and now I am starting the next phase of my new blog experience… and I don’t have any posts planned for this week. That means that I will be posting at random times for the next couple of days… but I am going to be trying to figure out what the new blog is going to be looking like.
I have a book review for a friend that I will be posting sometime soon – I was lucky enough to get an ARC for her book… and I can’t wait to tell you what I think about it. I have nearly finished reading it. My review is likely to be released near the release date in June.
Hope Splashes has a release date soon.
Chasing Ghosts is also releasing soon.
Fae Corps Publishing has a full release schedule until January of next year. So I will be able to talk about the publisher side of things some as well.
I still have to go through the categories and do a bit of a cleaning. I hope to get it done before next week.
Though I have done a lot of changes and the changes may mean the blog looks different, I think that it will be nicer to read in the long run.

So, I decided I wanted to do my blog differently because the picture limits were annoying me. However…I don’t like the expense for the paid blog here. So I paid for www.pattimouse.org Which I am waiting for the site to be situated that I designed…(And then it will probably take a bit of time to adjust to the new blog) I plan on still linking to it, HERE…and doing the random text blogging here…but I will be doing the picture heavy stuff there. So I will be doing some adjustments to how I post. Once I get it set up right…which as I said will take time. This should make my posts more interesting I hope.

So I as you can see above have a few volumes that are coming close to finishing. Chasing Ghosts is Serena’s and I will replace it with another one for her. Hope Splashes is my current random volume… so I will be able to replace it with the next one. Ocular Dystopia is going to be a little while. It’s a volume of visual poetry. That is harder than it sounds.
The other three each have a theme. And I don’t know what to do when I finish them. I love having multiple volumes that I can work with… but I don’t know if I have any more themes planned. I’m going to have to take a look at the future project file and decide if any of them are a theme in the future. I’m not going to do anything until I get at least one of those sent to the publishing office.

Okay I have been trying to figure out what to do with my stuff that gets accepted to anthologies and the like. Serena has a volume she was putting things in… but I was not sure if it was even a thing I needed.
You see I rarely send my stuff out. If I do submit, it is usually to my own publishing company. Not as a guarantee of publishing but instead as a decorative element for the Anthologies I am putting together. I don’t think that I have the energy to send my work to be judged.
I may feel inclined to send in to one or two projects… but I don’t see it being a big deal. So I think that I want to keep a open volume… much like Anthology Alumni and then release it when I feel like it is ready.
The next volume like that is going to be Jotted Memories.

Well…I finished writing Queer Verbage which will not release until April…it seems so far away…but it is one less thing I have hanging over me. I can do the formatting and get the stuff done for publishing.
I cannot explain why the need to finish it was so strong, but having it done is a weight off. Now I have Tears of the Broken, Dream Drops, Fighting Ignorance, Ocular Dystopia, Occult Madness in progress for me and Chasing Ghosts for Serena.
When I mentioned to my Daughter how I felt like I was struggling with it, she said I was pushing too hard. She said that if I worked any harder she would never get to see me. Sorry, she comes first there. But it did make me wonder…what is the right amount? I try to write as I feel the urge, but I also try to set a daily goal so I actually get forward progress on more than just the poetry volumes…because I tend to get easily distracted from my stories. I am aware there is a discipline to this…and I am a child of chaos.
So where is the happy medium for me? That is something I am going to be working with over the next few weeks. I need to set me a workable time schedule for writing and work that I can stick to…or at least attempt to. Let’s see how that goes?

Normally, if I set up the link for a book…It is at least completely written. This time I am starting that process early. Queer Verbage, at the time of this post is 10 poems away from being done…But I wanted to secure the April release date. The publishing schedule fills up so fast…I wanted to be sure when this would release. And considering I have been fixated on this volume…I do not see myself having issues writing 10 poems in nearly four months.
