This one is a twisted Kaiju theater. It has a really twisted sense of humor. It is funny but it often is not right. I am not sure how often it updates, but I have yet to not enjoy an update.
It is heavy in math and geekdom. The art Is mostly stick figures…but it is heavy in geek humor and smarts. I am not entirely sure how often it posts (I have never been able to get caught up through the archives on this one.) I think it is about every three days or so?
This one, there are times that it will be over my head…I guess I am just not smart enough for some of the jokes. The ones I do get are hilarious. I feel like it is okay not to get all the jokes on a comic if you enjoy some of them.
It updates from what I can see about every two weeks. The characters are interesting and the art is amazing. It’s mostly black and white with small bits of red occasionally thrown in for emphasis. It has been going since 2007 and seems to still have a decent story worth reading.
It doesn’t get really Gorey so I think even non-zombie readers could enjoy this comic.
It is updated usually once a week (Everyone has bad weeks…) I am still working on catching up on this one (I sort of got too caught up in life to keep up with my comics so I have to catch up on most of the ones I follow)
This Comic has a rich and well-written history. The art has been improving since it was started, but it has a softer edge to it, making it feel more like the person drawing it is not focusing completely on perfection instead focusing on the story. I like that if I am honest. Thought has obviously gone into the characters.
I think it is a fun comic. there is a lot of archives, but the comic is a fairly easy to read one so getting caught up should not take a huge amount of time.
I decided that I needed to change things a little. I am growing complacent on my blog, and that makes it no fun for me. I will start doing Webcomic Wednesday every week and take Thursday to talk about art/Share art (Artsy Fartsy Thursday). I will move my occasional Tea Party posts to Saturday.
Now I have at one point or another had over a hundred webcomics I followed. The update schedule varies between daily to whenever the artist remembers…I still have links to several comics that have ended because I enjoyed them so much. (I.E. https://www.girlswithslingshots.com & http://yume.rosalarian.com/archive/ ) I cried when they ended. And I have fallen behind periodically in my reading of the updates, only to revisit and start the arduous process of getting caught up all over again. I love the idea that the comics are waiting for me when I am able to come back to them.
Today I want to introduce you to one that has evolved quite well into one of my faves. https://www.goblinscomic.com is a really cute comic based on the idea of the monsters in an RPG and their ability to become PCs. The humor is on target, and the art is fun. Rich characters that are fun to read.
