P.A.D Day 2

Today the prompt was to write a sweet poem. I think that I did a good sweet….😋

P.A.D. Challenge Day one

I am going to try to post my poem every day from the PAD Challenge. I am terrible at doing that…lol. I also do not know if I am going to only do one of them or not. I found a couple of options. I usually do the writer’s digest version(Linked above.) But sometimes the prompt does not hit properly. Fae Corps is also posting a daily prompt in November, just as we do in April and November every year.

Today’s Prompt from Writer’s Digest was either Beginning or end.

What would you do with that prompt? What would you do with the Fae Corps Prompt? If you aren’t doing poetry are you doing NANOWRIMO? Tell me about your project. I am really interested in what others are doing this year.

Poetry Notes

Well I am surprised. Handprints is releasing November 18th. I have been writing in Thoughtcicles and I have found it is flowing. It is already at 50 out of the 70 poems. Doing the PAD challenge should have it ready for release by the end of November but I am covered up in book release stuff until after the first of the year. So I am likely to release it in January sometime.

Both of these poems are from my Xactly Poetic volume. If you are curious about the forms poem one is a cascade poem and poem two is a found poem. To be specific the second poem is all song titles.

Trying something a little different this week. I did a poem – Have yet to transcribe it…only place I have it yet is in the video form…

Tuesday…what more can I say?

The last couple of days have been a whirling shitshow. I am completely out of my routine. Today I am dealing with an enormous amount of laundry…and the various dishes that are actually normal for my house. I am squeezing in doctors appointments and errands. I somehow want to attempt to write today. I am an ambitious soul after all. The end of the month is coming quite quickly, and I have two anthologies and an indie author publishing in October.

I am already preparing for kid’s week – The first week in December. We have books planned by A.R. Clayton, D.W. Storer, C.M. Snow, Raz T. Slasher, and 2 by me. (One picture book and one middle grade). I feel like It is going to be a good offering this year. The first Call is out for the spring anthology. And I have submitted a poem and a flash piece of Serena’s to various places. Some things are just falling into place. I will let you know as I hear about the submissions and the results there.
