my response is :
memories from long forgotten places,
I find myself watching it from a distance
as though I am stuck in a repetitive
dream without any way out.
drifting into something resembling
an active dream of poetry

2026 PAD Challenge Day 21
my response is :
when trying to describe
who I am and who I am not
the ink is limited.
there is no clarity
in the darkness
of the ink pot,
even as it empties.

And a goatee,
And if his eyes looked pretty glazed…
If He looked spaced out
Would you buy his story?
Would you believe he
had an eye infection?

What if God smoked cannabis?
Hit the bong like some of us?
Drove a tie-dyed microbus,
And he subscribed to Rolling Stone?
When God made this place,

Or did he put them
there for Adam and Eve,
So they’d be hungry for
the apple that the snake
Was always offering?
And yeah, yeah… God rolls great,

What if God smoked cannabis?
Do you suppose he had a buzz
When he made the platypus
When he created earth, our home?
Does He like Pearl Jam or the Stones?
And do you think He rolls His own
Up there in heaven on the throne?
And when the saints go marching home,
Does he just sits and smokes a bowl?
My 2 cents –
okay I was absolutely shocked to find out that this was done by the cranberries. it was originally a bob rivers song and joan Osborne made it a hit.
Okay, I am the original wallflower…but I signed up for an online poetry reading. I don’t step out of my comfort zone often but there is supposed to be other poets reading….the event listing on Facebook is here.
My Response is:
Perhaps the world has forgotten
the simple pleasures of laying back
watching dragons in flight.
children still dream of them,
so easily as if the dragons
are solid and real...
so why have adults forgotten?

It takes a special kind of evil to be a mean girl at an autistic summer camp, but Faith Harris has been excelling at that ever since she first arrived.
Whenever that was. Despite her obsession with Faith, Lots and the rest of her cabinmates can never seem to pinpoint exactly how long they’ve known her.
Still, Lots is going to enjoy this summer. She only has a couple of years left until she’ll have to leave camp and the friendships she’s made there behind, so she’s determined to make the most of it.
Even with camp attendance dwindling. And her best friend signing up to spend a lot more time away from Lots than they’d previous discussed. And the entirety of Faerie declaring war against her cabin after Lots accidentally annoys Faith into revealing her true nature.
Yup, this summer is going to be perfect.
My Thoughts
my son bought me this for my birthday. he was super excited about it. the author is pansexual and autistic. and they write characters that show queer and autistic traits. I honestly felt seen . the story was so much fun and it was something that was truly rich characters.

my response is ( though late still )
according to the constitution
the definition of citizenship
is either one born on this soil
or one that follows the rules
and takes the tests to gain
the green card to become one.
if you stop them from getting the tests
you stop the legal process for citizenship ...
this country was founded on immigrants
the idea of immigration. the only non-immigrants were born here.
and even those were often
children of immigrants.
This is my work in progress list… and how I keep track of my word count.
I feel like the week flies by. I swear I just posted my count yesterday.
I have a couple of new medications.
