Wild Wednesday

I posted recently about evolution of poetry volumes.

I started Echoes into the void Yesterday(For me this is Sunday.)

And already the inspiration has been leaning towards a singular topic. That does not mean it will be the end theme…but that is often how it starts. I am amused by this.

And in Announcements – I have been approved to do the Poetry Marathon Half Marathon! I did it before in 2017. It is 12 poems in 12 hours. One an hour based on prompts given. I usually enjoy this sort of writing challenge. I will be posting the poems here as well. It is in September. (I have to look up the exact date again…So I will clarify more information closer to.)

Artsy Fartsy Thursday

The same thing in two different mediums.

Introducing Me

So, I have been writing for a while as Patricia Harris. I have even been doing the same as Serena Mossgraves for a little bit. That is not a surprise for anyone. I have been sitting on the beginning of a story and I didn’t want to go anywhere with it because it was just not in the genre of either of my pen names. At the same time I have been trying to write it since I was in school. It was the first one that I ever wrote. So I am going to try making a new pen name just for the writing of romance and or other things along that lines.

So…Hi. meet me. Susan Ann Andrews. Romance writer.

Artsy Fartsy Thursday

I got into a creative spike the other day. Me and my sketchbook had fun.

Artsy Fartsy Thursday

I love exploring various art apps on my phone. This is from an app called Glow art…

Artsy Fartsy Thursday

Was doing some birbs with the pencil the other day…

Artsy Fartsy Thursday

Tuesday Tunes

A day for me to discuss music

Lyrics

him

Love thy neighbor, right?
Or is it only if they’re
Rich, able-bodied, cis, hetero and white?
I’m starting to think this lord of yours is overrated
If he made you in his image
Must’ve been real inebriated

Preacher preaching rubbish
Rambling, condemning sodomy
Vocal variation of an awfully botched lobotomy
Scream about the gays
And how you wish you could exterminate ’em
Jesus would’ve hated the way you’ve portrayed him

Love thy neighbor, right?
Or is it only if they’re
Rich, able-bodied, cis, hetero and white?
I’m starting to think this lord of yours is overrated
If he made you in his image
Must’ve been real inebriated

My 2 Cents –

I found this when I was driving. It definitely caught me by surprise. I don’t normally push any idea that has a hate filled message and this one has some…but it also has a lot of truth to it too. Hate seems to flow through everything anymore and I am so very tired of it. Jesus is portrayed as someone by the bible who would have been happy to sit with the gays, and the theys. But the modern media portrayal is one that has him hating everything not christian. It hurts my heart. We are all human. So kindness should be the thing that we default to.

New titles and Links

So between the blog and Facebook, the most popular choice was Muse’s Masterpiece for the next volume. I am already started in on it.

Release Dates for Upcoming books:

Tomorrow July 7 Quiet Screams
July 14 Anthology Alumni
August 4 The Lunatic Asylum Screams
August 18 On My Way Home
August 25 Blood Red Rain By Serena Mossgraves

I do not know if I will have Serena Doing anymore Poetry. I enjoy exploring the Darker poetry with her, but at the same time it is exhausting to have so many projects open at once. I am hoping to still have Xactly Poetic releasing in September. I have it over half way written. This year has been a busy writing year for me. I have released more volumes this year than I often do. I have a kid’s book I have been trying to get illustrated for Kid’s week in December.

Artsy Fartsy Thursday

I like drawing owls. And this is a good time to mention that I was on a couple of episodes on The Owl Light Network
