Busy busy blogger

So… the next couple of months are busy ones.

I am going to be doing the sketchtember, drawtober, and November pad challenges. That means that you will be seeing a daily post on here for the next few months. (I have already done a few of the drawings for sketchy tembers to make sure I can keep up. Especially since I am going to be doing the half marathon for the poetry marathon.)

With all of the other things I have going on… I am keeping the drawings posts simple. I will post the art and the prompt I used.

Artsy Fartsy Thursday

I have been playing with mushrooms. My daughter said that they were zombie shrooms. I saw them as scared. Your opinion?

Artsy Fartsy Thursday

The same thing in two different mediums.

I got into a creative spike the other day. Me and my sketchbook had fun.

Was doing some birbs with the pencil the other day…

I like drawing owls. And this is a good time to mention that I was on a couple of episodes on The Owl Light Network

The above image I found on Pinterest. I included the link to where it goes… but I used it as my muse. I drew what I saw… and this is what I came up with.

It is an adorable picture.

Is my art exactly the same? No. And I don’t want it to be. I think that I do pretty good with the drawing from an image without tracing it.

Artsy Fartsy Thursday

Something I call meditation Art… basically I draw circles and lines and swirls in what ever way I feel like at the time… until I feel like I am done. It’s relaxing.

Gnomishly artistic

Well I promised I would try to share more of the art and poetry this month even though I was not able to do a daily post… so here’s a happy Gnomey…

Mermay Day 30

And I Did it!!!! 30 days of Art. I actually managed to do it. (Yes I am aware of 31 days in May. I am not going to post an art tomorrow in honor of Memorial Day. )
