my response is :
in my memory
I am always here
walking through the
ruins of yesterday,
wondering what I
could have done
differently.
seeing the broken beauty
and knowing that I created
all of this madness and
masterpiece, I wonder
if my life is but a mirror
to forgotten things
I need to remember.
My Response Is:
Here I sit for all to hear
Singing my history,
In hopes that I am not the only one
that learns lessons from it.
for forgotten history is repeated,
and repeated history is nothing but tears.
So, I will sing it as loudly as my voice allows.
I will sing it as often as I may...
And I will hope that I am strong enough
to keep the memories alive
and history at bay.

my response is :
childhood moments,
so easily forgotten,
skipping river rocks
just for the fun.
making popcorn chains
to throw about recklessly,
hoarding laughter like
the treasure it is.

my response is :
today my brain is so foggy
that I feel as if I am playing
solitaire with a deck of 28 cards....
I have forgotten all I need to know
I want to remember,
I really do,
but in the moment
all I find is myself confused..

small doses of kindness
is simply a way to show
the world there is love
still in your heart .
treat others as you
would want to be
treated.
that is the best
way for anyone
to live.

My response is :
faeries are born
from the laughter
of newborn babies,
or so we are told.
but I believe that
Banshee are made
from forgotten hugs
when loved ones pass.

My response is :
when I thought
I had forgotten
how to fly,
and it hurt so much
all I could do is cry...
when I realized the wing
was broken and laying loosely
I determined that i must
fly anyways.

my response is :
memories from long forgotten places,
I find myself watching it from a distance
as though I am stuck in a repetitive
dream without any way out.
drifting into something resembling
an active dream of poetry
and possibility

my response is :
when trying to describe
who I am and who I am not
the ink is limited.
there is no clarity
in the darkness
of the ink pot,
even as it empties.
My Response is:
Perhaps the world has forgotten
the simple pleasures of laying back
watching dragons in flight.
children still dream of them,
so easily as if the dragons
are solid and real...
so why have adults forgotten?
