Sorrow of a Muse
When a muse cries,
What does she inspire?
Those that have hearts,
Filled by her vision of beauty,
Boldly step forward,
To offer their vary souls,
As linen to dry her tears..
She inspires desperate words,
Of love and desire,
That pour forth,
To quench her sorrow..
They give understanding and comfort,
Even as they place the lash in her hands,
That she may vent her frustration,
Apon their bared flesh..
They stand as her shade in the heat,
And her shield,
Against words said in anger and haste,
That the muse may one day,
Again find them worthy,
To grace with her love.
