Thursday Tea Party

Today is two days of less sleep than necessary… So today I am drinking monster (I love the ultra violet zero). Add in the passing of someone I once knew… Yeah, I think it is a good idea to do something different today.

I want to direct you towards a book I am currently obsessed with…. Winnie’s Courage(Back to Oz book 1).

It is a really good story that travels through quite a few lands of fantasy. The characters are strong. And it has a interesting view of quite a few favorite literary characters. And I am only half of the way through.

It’s by a fellow author, Jess Reece. Guys , I am so in awe of her! She writes amazing stories, she draws gorgeous art, she makes beautiful polymer clay stuff. She is so cool! 😍

Tomorrow, I will be posting another bit of Serena’s Kingdoms of Sin. It is coming along nicely.

Whispers of the muse is live on more places. The preorder for Inspiration Without a Home is still going on until the 30th. After that the link is the same to buy the book. You can still get Under the Mists, as well. Not a link post, just wanted to be sure that the most recent books get extra time in the light.

I have been getting a good bit of new followers lately. I want to welcome all of you. Please feel free to comment. I love interaction of any kind. Whether it always suits the post or not.

Sketchtember has been happening all over my social media. This year I am staying busy. Doing Sketchtember, Inktober, Nanowrimo. By December I am going to be tired. 😂

Book Review – Bloody Sheets

This was an interesting read. I found it to be well written and captivating.

My two cents –

I have been doing a lot of thinking about perspective lately. Especially since writing my memoir. We are all the villain in someone else’s story. When we become the villain in our own story is when we start to change. I know that my story as seen by others was different than it was for me. I can’t speak from their point of view. I can only speak my truth. So, when I tell my story… It will always be shaded by my perception. How it affected me. How it changed me. I try to look at others perspective, but it is not easy with some situations.

Inspiration without a home is a memoir. My story. It is not completely linear… Nor should it be. There is stories about abuse, about rape. There is a life in those pages. Not a good life, but one lived. That life created the woman I am today. And I am at least remotely sure that I was the villain of some of the story as told by others.

More Monday

Ok folks… I am exhausted. I just did layout for two books. I am editing the first novel for one of our Authors over at Fae Corps, Cyn A Snow. I am trying to do Sketchtember, at least twice a day. And I don’t have anything ready for today. So, instead I decided to ask you to share what you have been doing. Art, writing, crafts… Just give me something to look at. I look forward to seeing what you have been creating. I promise that this is a judgement free zone. I will not tolerate negative comments.
