I actually waited longer than I usually do. Lost Notes is completely written and scheduled for release. I usually ask 5 or 6 poems from being done. Help me to choose the next volume?

Okay…Today was the end of November’s poetry posts. Tomorrow will be a quiet day here on the blog. I will likely be trying to schedule the week ahead. The current plan for my blog is:
Monday poetry – This will be Poetry by Patricia Harris
Tuesday Tunes- This will be a day for me to discuss music
Wednesday Whispers – This will be a sneak peak into Serena Mossgraves’s writing. Either Poetry or Fiction. This could be a short story or a teaser. I will try to at least post something fun.
Thursday Topics – This is going to be a bit random. It could be publishing, Mental Health, Writing, Politics, Rants…just about anything that I have burning my mind that week. Or it could just be a meme that I found worthy of sharing…I am not going to limit this one.
Friday Share – this is the same as it has always been. Share with me something worth looking at. Or I might share in the comments something fun. It is a easy day for me.
The weekends are rarely active here. I do my scheduling on Sunday. So I occasionally will post on Saturday or Sunday if I see something that I feel the need to speak about and don’t wanna wait until Thursday. Otherwise the only posts I will try to guarantee is the Book Birthdays. ( I am terrible about remembering to do these here. Fae corps always remembers) I will likely be doing a daily thing again in April, May, October, & November… 2 poetry and 2 art. Whether I stop the other posts during that time or not…well I will see. I did this time because I felt I needed to reorganize the blog.

So… the next couple of months are busy ones.
I am going to be doing the sketchtember, drawtober, and November pad challenges. That means that you will be seeing a daily post on here for the next few months. (I have already done a few of the drawings for sketchy tembers to make sure I can keep up. Especially since I am going to be doing the half marathon for the poetry marathon.)
With all of the other things I have going on… I am keeping the drawings posts simple. I will post the art and the prompt I used.

I posted recently about evolution of poetry volumes.
I started Echoes into the void Yesterday(For me this is Sunday.)
And already the inspiration has been leaning towards a singular topic. That does not mean it will be the end theme…but that is often how it starts. I am amused by this.
And in Announcements – I have been approved to do the Poetry Marathon Half Marathon! I did it before in 2017. It is 12 poems in 12 hours. One an hour based on prompts given. I usually enjoy this sort of writing challenge. I will be posting the poems here as well. It is in September. (I have to look up the exact date again…So I will clarify more information closer to.)

So for two months I have managed Daily posts…I find myself presented with a problem. June and July are busy months…not the ability to sit in front of the computer kind of busy…but garden and being invited to cookout kind of busy. I have plans for the fall. Sketchtember. Inktober. This is probable. I am considering the Poetry Marathon in August. (that is 24 poems in 24 hours). But I don’t think I can do daily post in June. I will try to post some more art and poetry than I had been doing. And I will definitely do my weekly posts. I have so much more upcoming that I want to share. I just need to pull back slightly.

The first day of May AKA Beltane is also the beginning of the planting season. (It’s a pagan holiday) I have a lot planned for May, but I don’t know what to do for a daily thing. I have several things that I am going to be doing… and I am hoping to get more information for you. From an upcoming anthology that will have some of my poetry, and another one with one of Serena’s stories in it, to the next volume of Poetry I am publishing (Immortality) which is releasing in June. Fae Corps Publishing has a full release schedule for May. And June is looking full as well. I am hoping to get some art squeezed in and posted through the month of May.

Thoughtcicles will release In January and since I am so very close to finishing with Ethereal Dreams I will be looking at trying to get it published by the end of February (link to come) (I am still 5 poems from finishing it but I should be able to get them done this week) That being said…I always pick my next volume before I get the current one done. I have for the last 3 asked for opinions…but this time this cover has me obsessed. I am hoping to be able to release at least a couple of volumes in 2023, but I don’t want to go making any promises.
Fae Corps is going to be busy. We have 2 anthologies planned, at least one book from DW Storer, a book from Raz T Slasher (maybe more than one), a book from Ruan Bradford Wright, and I have a children’s book planned for kids week. We may be adding in a few other people (depending on how things go). Being as I am the main person running the house for Fae Corps at the moment… that makes it much tighter for me to get my writing in as well.
If you are interested in the newsletter for Fae Corps…I have set up a sign up page. It goes out at the beginning of each month.

In November I was able to schedule the blog ahead. However, I was not able to do the normal weekly posts. Not with the daily poetry posts. I enjoyed the poetry posts though, did you? Still, now I am sitting here about to get the week ahead scheduled and I find that I am feeling like I am at a refresh moment. A save spot in a game if you will. It makes me wonder if I should make changes to the themes of my day to day posts. Definitely thinking about if I want to do anything else for the new year.
I would love feedback from the reader of my blog. What would you like to see me talking about in the future? What is not working? I don’t guarantee that I am going to implement the suggestions, but I am going to at least consider them all. I am currently thinking about adding a few things maybe taking a couple of things out. I never do that new year new me thing, but I do have a policy for a yearly word. My word for 2023 is actually a pair. “Forward Progress” I am trying to find a way to improve me, my work, and my life. I spent much of this last year struggling and in a rut. I want to avoid this in the upcoming year.
So, in the interest of Forward Progress, I will ask. What is your opinion on this blog? What should I continue? What is probably better left behind in 2022? What would be a good addition to the blog in the future?

So I am at 64/70 poems for Thoughtcicles. I don’t have the next general poetry title picked out yet. It is a pull between these four. I would love your opinions?

Poetry woke me. it is not the first time, likely will not be the last. I have been working on two different projects as my poetry goes…I have been finding that I am writing a lot of political poetry…where I had not been before. I guess as I have aged my heart is just not in swallowing the rage I have been feeling for the way the world around me is. I don’t like saying nothing when I see a wrong being done. I have fought for my voice, so I guess I will have to use it. well not all of the poetry I have been writing is appropriate for this volume.

so I am writing two. I think the first one is either going to be smaller than my usual or take longer, I am not sure. it currently has twelve poems compared to the twenty nine in Handprints. Gathering Teardrops will be released in May and I am not sure if either of these will be available this year. I have a bit of a full schedule for publishing this year.
I will announce when each are done writing. I have another poem that is bouncing around my head wanting to be written, so I am writing instead of sleeping….sigh
oh…btw…I have an interview on Facebook on Friday…will post the link as soon as I get it.
