Announced changes

I am going to be doing two separate Poem a Day challenges and I am going to be doing the Fae 50k. I am going to be going for a daily habit more than the word count. The fun thing is that you don’t have to do 50k to win the Fae 50k you merely have to write daily. I am going to be trying to get as much word count as I can each day.

I Think I am going to just leave my Monday as a single poetry post for the remainder of October and figure out what I want to replace Publishing Demystified with in December.

What’s new Wednesday

Blog Weekly image

So I finished with the pad challenge yesterday and now I am starting the next phase of my new blog experience… and I don’t have any posts planned for this week. That means that I will be posting at random times for the next couple of days… but I am going to be trying to figure out what the new blog is going to be looking like.

I have a book review for a friend that I will be posting sometime soon – I was lucky enough to get an ARC for her book… and I can’t wait to tell you what I think about it. I have nearly finished reading it. My review is likely to be released near the release date in June.

Hope Splashes has a release date soon.

Chasing Ghosts is also releasing soon.

Fae Corps Publishing has a full release schedule until January of next year. So I will be able to talk about the publisher side of things some as well.

I still have to go through the categories and do a bit of a cleaning. I hope to get it done before next week.

Though I have done a lot of changes and the changes may mean the blog looks different, I think that it will be nicer to read in the long run.

What lay ahead

FAQ

Okay, I went through and I cleaned out my media files. Starting the first week of May… my blog is going to look slightly different.

I still have to go through my categories and do a cleaning.

I’m going to start posting the poetry more like I have this month. With the reusable image.

I will still be posting art on occasion but I am thinking about using Artsy Fartsy Thursday as a day to discuss art and the creation of rather than just posting the art.

The images I saved are either blog images, or memes that I use regularly, or book covers. So much of the blog before this is going to be missing the image from the posts.

Since I am going to be doing the poetry in a text format, I plan to try to do a second post on Monday but I don’t know if it will always be a second poem.

That should be the majority of the changes. Thank you for the patience as I have been doing this change.

Technical difficulties

Okay I posted to the new site and it is not showing the blog there. Technical support is a wonderful friend but he is a very busy person right now. So I am hoping to get it fixed soon.

And no, before any one gets it in their head… this is not an April fools thing. I don’t do that because I don’t handle jokes well.

Wild Wednesday

Tradition is a big part of the holidays.

In more ways than just the overall scope of things.

Families gather because of tradition.

If you google the tradition of Christmas trees you find – The first records of Christmas trees being cut for display comes from the 1820s in Pennsylvania’s German community, although trees may have been a tradition there even earlier.

In my house we get certain gifts every year because it is traditional. A box of Christmas Crunch, a bag of Andes mints, A thing of Sparkling Cider, and some Hot Chocolate.

We stretched out the holiday by letting our daughter open one present a day until Yule in December. (That meant she got 21 presents at least although we really did not do stockings and such.)

We did a lot of homemade gifts. Which focused on time spent together. We still do. Jams, and Jellies are likely to be a favorite this year.

What are your traditions? If you celebrate a different holiday please don’t hesitate to tell me your holiday traditions. I honestly want to know. This is not a place of judgement. This is a time when sharing knowledge makes us all wiser.

Wild Wednesday

So as of today I have been posting 95 days in a row.

That matters because tomorrow is the last Pad challenge Day. And the last Daily thing I had planned. At least until April.

I am going to be doing the pad challenge again in April.

And I am going to be doing the Mermay art challenge.

There’s an art challenge for June, but I have yet to decide if I should do it…

This is going to be a busy year for publishing for me.

Single Author books we have scheduled through August already. There’s a lot of stuff coming. Currently scheduled for eight separate books with a few more possible.

And Fae Corps Publishing is doing 3 anthologies this year. Okay I am doing 2 calls and a special Anthology for the Owl Light Network. We all know that the calls can end up being 2 or 3 anthologies by the end.

And I am still working on writing and reading and living in the meantime.

So I am going back to the normal schedule for the week starting next week. Just thought I would give you a heads up.

Derp.

So I am trying to get the week scheduled… and I accidentally put the Tuesday post on published first. It got scheduled but it was live for a few seconds.

So I am appreciative of your patience with my derp.

Drawtober

Day 16 prompt banana/pumpkin I went Jack O Lantern banana…

Busy busy blogger

So… the next couple of months are busy ones.

I am going to be doing the sketchtember, drawtober, and November pad challenges. That means that you will be seeing a daily post on here for the next few months. (I have already done a few of the drawings for sketchy tembers to make sure I can keep up. Especially since I am going to be doing the half marathon for the poetry marathon.)

With all of the other things I have going on… I am keeping the drawings posts simple. I will post the art and the prompt I used.

Monday Poetry

I oopsed and undid my Monday poetry post from this week…so here it is again…one from me and one from Serena…
