So yesterday I was a busy blogger. I really should be more regular in my posts…. But I am not good at regular. Now that I have the app on my phone it is more likely. I am a creature of convenience. I try to improve my actions, I try to get into the habits that I want to have. Still routine is not easy for me. My life is very chaotic. I warned you with the tagline… Lol. Crazy rarely is predictable. Still, when trying to deal with a blog, and selling what I wrote, I am aware that if there is no updates then I will have no readers. So I will attempt to do better. If nothing else, I will try to share some of the awesome blogs that I read.
The Death of Neverland
A novelette with a horror take on the Peter Pan story. What if we were told a lie? What if Peter and his lost boys were not what we had been led to believe? Be forwarned, this is an adult tale and is violent and filled with darkness.

Faery tales are not always for children….
Meet Serena Mossgraves
So I decided that I needed a pen name. I am a poet and a children’s author. The last few stories I have felt inappropriate for children. So I decided that I might want a adult name for the tales that do not fit. Now being as I struggle with doing the blog at all…. I really don’t want to separate the blog for both names. I plan instead to note which of the two is the author if I speak of my writing. Thank you for understanding.I am hoping to update this blog a bit more often now as my phone has the app.
Commodity
Just like the
one before.
Freedom a lie,
In the land of
the free.
Stolen from life,
Forced to live
this strife.
No longer human,
A bought toy
Forced to endure.
No one sees
What is left of me.
Nothing remaining
Except a commodity.
(Just a note)

9 literary journals that want your poems – now!
One of the things I like to do in my leisure time is to brows some very interesting online literary magazines as it helps in my inspiration but I also like to be informed about the newest trends in literature and writing styles.
As a result of my research I managed to compile a list of 9 magazines that pretty much on regular basis accept submissions for new poems and prose, and of course you might find some of them interesting in your publication process.
So here it is:
1.Hootreview. This is maybe one of my favorite. They focus on a micropoetry and microfiction, giving a real chance to aspiring writers.
2.32poems. They accept unsolicited poetry year round and also simultaneous submissions. As a rule, preference is given to shorter poems that fit on a single page (about 32 lines). For more visit their guidelines page.

14 literary (wordpress based) journals worth following and submitting your work
As my previous list of journals was very well received by you, my dear readers, I thought to do a similar, follow up list, but this time looking at some great magazines here at wordpress.com.
These sites I follow and read as regularly as I can and I hope you’ll find them interesting.
- Smoking glue gun: is my absolute favorite. Here I have discovered many new authors I adore like Kelly Boyker. As they say:
we look for the flashy, fresh, feminist, grotesque, avant-garde, minimalist, startling, etc. We accept original unpublished art in all forms: text, sound, video, image, hybrid, etc. we welcome simultaneous submissions.
2. Eunoiareview: I’ve been also following for some time. I like reading their poetry as it is very inspirational. In their own words:
It‘s an online literary journal committed to sharing the fruits of ‘beautiful thinking’. Each day, we publish two new pieces of writing for your…

Am I that intolerant liberal that conservatives warned you about?
I pride myself with political stuff on remaining open minded…. But I am also finding the “liberal ” ideals here lately to be obviously right…. And I think that it is causing me to question why.
At the risk of humble-bragging, I think one of my better character traits is my ability to be impartial: to keep judgments to myself in an attempt to understand why people hold beliefs and values that I strongly disagree with.
That being said, everyone has their “hot button topics” that make impartiality next to impossible. The older I get, the more I realize that the “hot button” issues that grind my gears are similar to those of my family.
And that scares me.
Not because my family’s values are bad (though I’m biased), but because I fear becoming the kind of person I can’t stand: the kind whose beliefs are shaped more by her upbringing than personal experience. The kind of person who was taught what to think, rather than learning to think for herself.
