So I have shared 2 book reviews over the last two weeks. I am temped to start doing that more…but I have to find a way to do such without adding to the media files on here. I will be thinking on it.
It would be an interesting addition to the blog. However it is adding to my already busy schedule.
It is not as if I do not read enough to be able to share at least my thoughts…Just how to do such without blowing out the media files….hmmm
next week on this day I will be turning 50.
To be honest I will be taking the week off from my blog. I am going to be on the Owl Light network on my birthday reading Serena’s story Shutters. Other than that I am not aiming to do anything work wise that is not necessary.
I have fun things planned and I am not going to stress myself over deadlines and the like.
I promise I will be back the following week.
okay Tomorrow is Valentines day.
The history is interesting, but I have issues with the implementation.
Dates don’t have to be expensive. the best dates I have had were sitting down by the creek and talking.
the pressure to buying gifts for each other is really uncomfortable.
I enjoy buying gifts and getting gifts without the strings attached.
I would rather capitalism not control my life.
I thought about doing a Tuesday Tunes with I am Santa Claus but I just don’t want to be that person today. I am not posting anything else this week due to the chaos of the holiday. See you all next week.

I feel like this fits the time of year well.
Today is thanksgiving in the US. (Happy Holidays if you celebrate…)
And that last bit is part of the issue. Everyone is expecting HAPPY. Holidays are sometimes a time of grief. Or a time of extra stress. This is true no matter which holiday it is. So I ask if you are struggling…reach out. There is always someone willing to listen. You Matter!!!
For me, this is a hard one. So I am hiding in the writing and video games…and other work to avoid the emotional damage that today will bring. I hope that each of you are having a day where you are able to give yourself the space and the grace that you need.
Between doctors appointments and thanksgiving…and a nasty headache…I am probably not going to manage the poetry today. I will try to catch up tomorrow. Happy thanksgiving and I appreciate your understanding.
